Booking an appointment
Should you wish to see a consultant for a urological concern, please do not hesitate to contact our office on 0113 388 2230. A convenient appointment will be made for you at one of the three hospitals that our consultants work from. If you have a preference to the hospital, please do inform us at the time of booking. Please note that the consultant will need either a GP referral or specialty consultant referral to be seen. Please have this emailed to our administrative team on referrals@leedsurologypartnership.co.uk or by fax to 0113 388 2187 addressed to the consultant you wish to see. If you are insured, please see the list of insurance companies that our consultants provide for and their appropriate provider numbers that you will need to present to your insurer. Should your insurance provider not be on this list, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Consultations & Tests
Attending your appointment
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment in order to register with the hospital desk and to fill in our registration form. Payment will be taken at the time of your appointment, so please ensure that you bring the appropriate amount in cash or cheque for your appointment. Should you be insured, please ensure that you bring your authorisation number with you to complete on your registration form.
Investigations
Should your surgeon request that you have investigations prior to seeing him or after having seen him, then the office will book these on your behalf and provide you with the details. Should the date and time be inconvenient, please contact the administrative team who would be happy to help you rebook at a more convenient time.
Your operation
Before your operation
• Please bring any medications that you may currently take with you to your procedure.
• We will advise you of the time to start starving yourself as this will be dependent on the time of your surgery.
• Please do not shave as we will perform this under sterile conditions.
• Please bring supportive underwear with you on admission although you will be issued with standard hospital underwear at the time of your surgery.
• Please note that if you are having a day surgery procedure, it is hospital policy that you have an escort to assist you home after a general anaesthetic.
After your operation
Follow up appointments will be booked on your behalf for your post-operative review. The administrative team will inform you of the date and time. Should this be inconvenient for you, please contact the administrative team and they will gladly assist you in re-booking this.

All appointments and procedures will be charged at the time of seeing your consultant. Cheque or cash preferable and a written receipt will be supplied.
